Company news

CodeDesign Inc. has been accepted into the NVIDIA Inception program, NVIDIA's free program for startups building in AI and accelerated computing.

We applied because almost everything CodeDesign does is inference. When you type "a bakery in Lisbon that does wedding cakes" and get back a full website in under a minute, that is a chain of model calls: reading the brief, choosing a page structure, writing every headline and paragraph, generating and placing images, then rendering it all as production code you can host, edit or export. Nearly one million people have used CodeDesign to generate 4.4 million websites that way. Keeping that chain fast and making it cheaper is most of our roadmap, and it runs on GPUs.

What NVIDIA Inception gives us

Inception is not funding and not an endorsement. It is a set of resources for AI startups at any stage:

  • Technical resources and training through the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute
  • Preferred pricing on NVIDIA hardware and software, and cloud credits from NVIDIA and partners
  • Partner offers on tools and services
  • Introductions to NVIDIA's venture capital network, based on eligibility
  • Co-marketing opportunities and the NVIDIA Inception member badge you will start seeing on our site

What we plan to do with it

A first draft in under a minute is the bar we set for ourselves, and it gets harder to hold as more people generate more sites. Our pipeline runs on GPU cloud infrastructure today. Inception gives us a faster path to three things:

  1. Keep "under a minute" true at scale. Move the heaviest steps of generation, layout reasoning, copy and image placement, onto NVIDIA GPU infrastructure we control, running open-weight models we tune on our own output. Lower cost per site, more predictable latency, no third-party queue in the critical path.
  2. Evaluate NVIDIA NIM microservices for image generation and for the site-wide reasoning step that decides what a page needs before anything is written.
  3. Train the team. Deep Learning Institute courses for the engineers who own the pipeline, so the next optimisation comes from us rather than from waiting on a vendor.

"Most small business owners never get a website because the first draft is the hard part. Our job is to make that first draft good enough that they only have to edit, not start over. Joining NVIDIA Inception gives us a faster path to the compute, tooling and expertise that make that first draft better and cheaper to produce."

What changes for you

Nothing in pricing or plans. What should change over the coming months is the speed and quality of the first draft, which is the part of website building most people never get past.
